Xtreme Thoughts is looking for an experienced Node.js / React.js Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, databases, and modern web application development.

The role involves developing scalable web applications, building backend APIs and services, creating responsive frontend interfaces, integrating third-party services, working with databases, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining secure and high-performance applications.

The candidate should be comfortable working independently on development tasks, understanding business requirements, working with existing applications, and delivering clean, reusable, and maintainable code.

REQUIRED SKILLS

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Node.js, React.js, or full-stack web development
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and hands-on experience with Node.js
  • Strong experience developing web applications using React.js
  • Good knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript development
  • Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js
  • Develop responsive and reusable frontend components using React.js
  • Implement application features using React Hooks, routing, and state management
  • Design and manage databases using MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies
  • Develop efficient database queries and optimize application data access
  • Integrate applications with third-party APIs, platforms, and external services
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and related technologies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend, backend, API, database, and integration issues
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and application improvements
  • Maintain source code using Git and follow proper development practices
  • Work with existing Node.js and React.js applications to implement enhancements and fixes
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, project managers, and other developers
  • Understand business requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and React.js development
  • Experience working on production-level Node.js and React.js applications
  • Experience with Next.js is a plus
  • Familiarity with Redux, Zustand, or other state management libraries is an advantage
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus
  • Experience with Redis or caching technologies is an advantage
  • Understanding of unit testing and automated testing is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a development team
